MedTime Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern use of MedTime, an iOS and iPadOS app operated by Sonic Wall LLC. By downloading or using MedTime, you agree to these Terms and applicable Apple platform terms.

License and acceptable use

Sonic Wall LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MedTime for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Use MedTime for unlawful activity
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, misuse, or bypass the app's protections except where applicable law expressly permits it
  • Interfere with MedTime, its services, or related security controls
  • Use the alert service to contact someone without that person's permission
  • Submit false registration information, generate abusive traffic, or use MedTime to send spam or prohibited messages

Medical disclaimer and reminder limitations

MedTime is an organizational and reminder tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency response, or clinical monitoring.

  • Always seek guidance from qualified healthcare professionals.
  • In an emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
  • Do not delay or change treatment based solely on information from MedTime.
  • Notifications and external alerts can be delayed, suppressed, interrupted, or undelivered because of device settings, network conditions, service availability, carrier filtering, or other factors.
  • You remain responsible for taking medication as directed and for independently confirming important information.

Profiles, devices, and iCloud

MedTime can maintain separate profiles for people or pets on your devices. MedTime does not provide profile sharing with other MedTime users. When iCloud sync is available, supported profile data syncs through the user's private iCloud database.

MedTime relies on Apple services such as iCloud, CloudKit, StoreKit, and local notifications. You are responsible for maintaining compatible devices, securing your Apple Account, managing device permissions, and keeping appropriate backups or exports.

Evaluation and purchase

Eligible users can explicitly start a free 30-day trial through a $0 non-consumable App Store product. The trial does not renew and never creates an automatic charge. After the trial, a separate one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase unlocks continued access to create and edit features. The target U.S. price is $4.99; Apple displays the applicable price for your storefront, and prices may vary by country or region. Neither product is an auto-renewing subscription.

Trial activation, purchases, billing, refunds, and restoration are processed by Apple under Apple's applicable terms. Eligible users can restore access using the Apple Account associated with the transaction. Existing records remain readable and exportable after the trial expires, although creating, editing, restoring, archiving, or importing records may require full access.

MedTime Alerts SMS program

Program name: MedTime Alerts

MedTime Alerts provides optional text messages requested through the MedTime app. Messages may include a one-time verification code and a generic notice that a medication reminder has not been marked as taken. SMS messages do not include the medication name, dosage, notes, attachments, or detailed health records.

MedTime does not provide external alert delivery by email.

Consent and enrollment

SMS participation is optional and is not a condition of purchasing MedTime or using its primary features. Before adding another person's mobile number, you must obtain that person's permission. The alert recipient must verify control of the mobile number before recurring missed-reminder alerts can be enabled. By completing verification, the recipient agrees to receive MedTime Alerts messages at that number.

Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies according to verification requests and the medication reminders for which external alerts are enabled. Multiple alerts may be sent when multiple enabled reminders are missed. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile carriers and Sonic Wall LLC are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt-out and help

Reply STOP to any MedTime Alerts SMS to unsubscribe. After a STOP request, no further MedTime Alerts messages will be sent to that number unless the recipient later opts in again. Reply HELP for help, remove the alert contact or disable contact alerts in MedTime, or contact support@medtime.app.

Consent and mobile-number information are handled according to the MedTime Privacy Policy. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Optional exports and communications

MedTime can present Apple share sheets or system apps so that you can export or send information to destinations you select. You are responsible for reviewing the content and recipient before sending it. Sonic Wall LLC does not control third-party destinations selected by you.

Privacy

Use of MedTime is governed by the MedTime Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the MedTime Consumer Health Data Policy.

Service availability and changes

MedTime and its supporting services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Sonic Wall LLC does not guarantee uninterrupted synchronization, notification delivery, message delivery, or compatibility with every device, carrier, or third-party service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sonic Wall LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to MedTime. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and termination

These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to MedTime, service providers, pricing, or legal requirements. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page. Access may be suspended or terminated for violations, abuse, security risks, or legal requirements.
